Awesome! I was just noticing yesterday that the 3.9 expired. This is great timing for my order (within 2-3 weeks)

Good find Michael. I was just telling my wife that the rates for '09's would fall with the new year. I love being right.

Perhaps the great Gods wish me to drive away in a new M3 sedan this year.

I was told by two dealers prior to my order that I will be able to lock in a rate for up to 60 days. This was important since I was ordering my M3. I hope they didn't tell me wrong. The also said that I would be able to re-lock-in a second time if production was slow and my order would take beyond 60 days. Does anyone know the exact policy regarding this?

Yes roughly, that was based upon 60K financed. I ordered mine last week and was told it wouldnt enter production until the first week of March. I locked into 3.9% but that would only last for 60 days, and my auto's delivery is beyond this. The finance manager told me that when the car arrives I would be able to partake in the % they were offering at that time. Now that being said, if you were to order a vehicle and lock the rate you have sixty days from that time to retain the locked rate. If after sixty days you have not taken delivery for any reason at all and the offered rate increases, you are than stuck with the increased rate. Lucky for those of you who are planning on quickly ordering, this piss poor economy will certainly keep those rates attractive if not drive them down even further.

Actually I hope the APR continues to drop after the 2.9% APR expires.
