Stay away from this Wrap Shop, for folks in Dallas, DFW area(maybe AZ and FL as well)
It was originally posted on G05 Forum, but I feel like more people should know this while you are looking for PPFs, don't want to your loved cars and hard working earned money been ruined.
Name of the shop: Supreme Wraps Dallas. They also have location in FL and AZ. original post: https://g05.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1964253 Last edited by SQ; 10-25-2022 at 02:47 PM.. |

Sounds like an experience I had in Nashville, TN. $5k in damage and a terrible wrap job. The only component that was truly wrapped was the hood. Everything else was a hack job... not even plotted. Both front B&W speakers grilles were deformed, both front door panels were not reinstalled correctly and had about an inch gap (and leather was also scuffed/damaged), the right window switch wasn't reconnected, left rocker panel damaged, and the rear bumper not reinstalled correctly and jutting out. Dude had the car close to a month the first time. I took it back, he had it another few weeks to even get the thing to an barely acceptable state. Charged me $10k. Said he'd make the damages right and then disappeared. I had to dispute, at which point (of course), he reappeared and tried to convince the bank I was conning him. I had emails and a signed letter from the BMW dealership about the whole thing, so they clawed back $5k so I could get it fixed. Horrible experience. Turns out the guy had gotten on drugs. Excuse after excuse after excuse. Was highly recommended in the area but has gone to utter crap, and I had the pleasure of being one of his first. Thereafter, he screwed over quite a few more. As much as I like the idea of PPF, I will probably not do it again until I've driven my next one a while. I would love to preserve factory paint as close to possible to new, but some of these people just don't know what the hell they are doing working on specific models of cars... and taking a brand new car apart has always bugged me.

A big baller on this forum once said he’s never seen a wrapped car that wasn’t a clapped out piece of shit up close. That’s stuck with me ever since and to this day any wrapped car I’ve seen has a multitude of issues. I shudder to think of all the bolts/fasteners/etc. which never make it back on the car during the install by the “technician” putting the car back together.
I don’t trust wrapping at all. |

Thanks for the PSA.
For the record, the only supreme wrap I would ever consider would be from Taco Bell. |

Just skimmed through the link and hope the shop makes it right. IDK, maybe I’m too old school and believe that washing/waxing here and there is enough to preserve paint on a car as I couldn’t fathom paying $6k for these services. People go through cars like laundry so to me, spending that amount of coin wouldn’t be economically viable to me.
Will follow and again, hope they make it right but I have my doubts. |

I am sorry that you are going through this BS!
MHO, finding a good wrap shop is like finding a good contractor for your home. It is a crapshoot! For any service like this I always go to the review sites and try to weed out the suspicious ones. Word of mouth and recommendations from people you trust that have used their services always helps. In my case when I wanted full PPF for my Z4 and I went to 4 shops in my area that used Xpel products , I walked around the shops, looked at the cars they were working on and then went online to research all of the reviews. I visited one shop that was part of a chain. The manager was a high pressure type of salesman, I didn't like what I saw and immediately rejected it. I guess that I was lucky as the shop I selected did outstanding work on my PPF and it is virtually impossible to see any seams unless you are right next to the car and really looking for them. I went back twice for a slight adjustment of a corner or fender edge on the PPF and they fixed it immediately. In addition a few months after I had the work performed I inquired about putting PPF on my gloss black finish center console that was starting to show micro scratches and the owner told me to come over and covered it with PPF for free. If anyone needs a great shop for PPF and ceramic in the North Miami, Aventura, Hollywood area of Florida send me a PM and I will be happy to give you the contact information. |

When I walked into the shop I used I saw a McLaren, a Ferrari and a Lamborghini getting wraps and I was intimidated and almost embarrassed to ask for a PPF quote on my Z4. The owner was low key and not the high pressure type you encounter in chains and franchises and I immediately felt comfortable working with him. |
