Creaking Shadowline trim
Does anyone know if there is a service bulletin for the shadow line creaking issue? I only notice it when the temps are down in the morning. I've narrowed it to the rubber piece on the front side of the rear doors that rests against the B pillar. The noise is easy replicated when I try to push on the trim. Not a huge deal but was wondering if anyone else has any solid "fixes" for the issue. I would think BMW would issue a bulletin to replace the trim with a new rubber compound that is less prone to making noise.

I'm having the same issue. Originally thought it was something with the sunroof track or rear deck, but definitely the trim makes noise. Small thing but driving me nuts. Lots of creaks to nail down I've found.

Dealer service departments were putting 3M UHMW tape on it.
It is fairly expensive. I used a cheaper alternative from Amazon on the F30 and it made the squeaking nearly imperceptible. If applied well, its unnoticeable with the doors closed. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00823JDD2...KZBM593AKZ817E
