Thanks for the responses. I tried the mdecoder site, it states my car type is 135is? Never heard of a 135is before. Is that a generalization term? I was hoping to cross-reference with another site.

The 135is was a 2013 US only model. Is your car a Model Year 2013? It saying that in the vin decoder doesn't mean it's a 135is. Look for option code P7MFA in the vin decoder to determine if your car is a 135is. It would also have badges that say 135is on the rear of the car and one just above the glove box, plus 313M wheels and other BMW Performance parts. Check the 1ADDICTS forum here for more info.
