PenFed/BMW Rebate - Any Luck Getting it Honored in 2022 on a Car Ordered in 2021?

So with the death of the PenFed/BMW rebate deal, I'm curious if anyone has been able to get their dealer or BMWNA to honor your prior PenFed rebate certificate/code on a car that was ordered last year (2021) and delivered this year (2022)?

I know some of this is now available through the BMW military rebate, but I'm not military and was just slipping in through the PenFed account holder loophole.

600+ views and no comment from anyone successful in getting it honored. That is not promising....

I believe I remember 1 person in another thread mentioning that they were successful in getting BMW to honor it, but it'd be nice to see some confirmation of this. $2,500 is not life changing obviously, but it would be nice to capture it as all of us buyers now are taking it in the shorts.

I ordered my car in early Nov and it's getting delivered in a week or two. This doesn't feel right that we should be excluded from the rebate because it took 6.5 months to deliver my car....

I ordered my car and got it delivered in 2021 with Penfed discount. Can't speak about 2022.

It’s a 90 day incentive & rate lock I think, with maybe some mechanism for extending
