Car trickle charger

Looking for a charger/ battery maintainer to keep the battery healthy throughout winter. Won’t be driving till early April. Be greater it has over charge safety. What’s the go to solution? Will this work?

That looks like the one I use.

I don't store my car because the climate is mild where I live, but I do plug in the car whenever I pull into the garage, because occasionally I might not drive for a week or two, and I read about another member getting ridiculous long battery life by religiously using his battery maintainer.

I do the same. And I have three of these chargers for my car. My Z4M has been used with an older version of it for years. For what its worth Jay Leno endorses them also (YouTube it).

This. Keep the battery charged and it runs for ever. Have a nice CTEK charger which I can't use due to no 220v outlet - need to replace the (4y old) battery again...

I have been using this unit on my M3 for over a year now whenever my car will not be driven for a week or more. I haven't had any issues and the display is very user friendly.

CTEK is great. Definitely extends battery life.

I have been using Deltran for years. Never let me down, I have three of them.

I also have a solar battery tender for a car that lives outside with no power outlet nearby.

I've been using a Battery Tender Junior I picked up on Amazon. It was pretty cheap and does the job. Mine's on a daily driver but as others have said, if I'm going to have her in the garage more than 24 hours I put her on the trickle charger.

I ran into an electrical issue after my supercharger install that looked like my battery needed to be replaced. I'm still not sure what happened, I had it on the trickle charger the whole time. I used another device to condition the battery for a couple of days and I've had no troubles since.

I have been using a BMW branded Deltran on my E46 M3. The last battery I had on it lasted 15 years before needing replacement a couple of months ago.

I use the same on the E92 but without the BMW branding.
