Correct tire sizes???

Hey everyone, first time posting on the forums.

So I just bought some new wheels, I'm planing on running the stock 275/35/19 tires on the front and 305/30/19 in the back, my question is how is this going to affect the MDM? Is it going to cause any issues ? I'd like to avoid getting 265/35 for the front as the 275s are brand new.. dealer put them on for me before I picked up the car and I swapped to a different set of wheels the same day.

After searching for "305/30/19" in this subforum:

Appreciate it but it doesn't really answer my question. The wheels I ordered are 19x9.5/11 so I know the 305/30 will fit but I wanna know if the 275/35 in the front is going to cause issues with MDM

Gotcha. Sorry for my misunderstanding. I believe this combo has been done before, but searching is your best bet. I'm sure it's been answered before.

The 275/35 is going to be taller than the 305/30 rear. 265/35 in the front and 305/30 rear is the combo you want to run to be pretty much even. I have these sizes and never had a problem with the traction control interfering.

Don't do it. Aside from your MDM having a fit at every moment of excitement, it'll just look dumb due to the taller front tire. If you have to insist on the 275/35 front, go with a 295/35 rear instead of the 305/30.

One more thing to note. A 275 front tire will rub when you turn, and depending upon your wheel offset and suspension set up, it could rub on the spring perches and ruin the tires after one block of driving. Basically, 275 isn't just set it and forget it; you have to be mindful of your set up to avoid problems.

Most people that run 275 end up getting a 30 series.

Kechupp,

275/35-19 tires can work, but are a bit tall and may cause some scrubbing issues if you are lowered significantly or under heavy compression. Most of our customers go with either a 265/35-19 or 275/30-19 up front paired with 305/30-19 tires. Those would be the best tire options in my opinion.

Here are few pictures of those tire sizes:

R: SM-10 19x11" ET44 - 305/30-19
