BMW Connected App is not showing the right car graphic

I know this is super petty and anal-retentive, but my M3 and my i3 are properly represented in the BMW app with the right color and wheels:

However the M3CS (2nd one down) is definitely not. Is there no way to fix this?

No. You can beg BMW, to which they'll probably take your feedback and then share it with their coworkers for a laugh.

Sorry that would drive me nuts if it didn't display the right car. Luckily for me mine are both correct

At least yours says "CS".

What color is it? It's probably because it's a "non-standard" color and those don't appear to show correctly in the BMW ConnectedDrive app or on the MyBMW web portal.

My wife's M3 ZCP is Individual San Marino Blue and the picture in both the app and on the website is Alpine White.

It's Lime Rock Grey. I figured that was the case but it says M3 and not M3 CS. First world problems.

I think that might be because the M3cs is not a distinct model in the BMW nomenclature like the M4cs is. For instance, when you go in the BMW parts catalogue, the M4cs has it's own chassis code while the M3cs uses the standard M3 chassis code.

I tried getting a screen capture from the ConnectedDrive app on my Samsung S8 but when I do that I get a message that says "Can't take screen shot due to security policy".

I don't have this problem with other apps on my phone. There is nothing in the app settings that appears relevant. Any idea how I can fix this?
