Buy a used CIC off ebay, or someplace like that, and use an emulator to trick it into thinking it is in the car that matches the CIC's VIN and then code the CIC for your cars options. Installing a used one with an emulator isn't that difficult and will probably only cost you a hundred or two for the CIC and maybe the same for the emulator. There are various vendors that offer emulator and packages for the both the replacement CIC and emulator. 3. Buy a used CIC and reprogram the CIC your self by changing the vin to match your car and importing the FSC files and then coding it. This can be pretty tricky since not that many people have done this. Another option is to just upgrade from CIC to NBT. There are vendors that offer that option. That will cost 800 and up depending on options and how new of version of NBT you want to install. |
