There’s no way I’ll accept a replacement of my Carbon prop shaft with the Steel ones from LCI 2

I've contacted my dealer and they are saying that it is isolated to only the USA. Although, that's not to say that it won't be expanded in the future.

As for the carbon/steel shaft debate, I can't see BMW getting away with not putting carbon shafts back in, as there are model years with carbon that are not within the affected range, so they have parts that are fit for purpose.
