Where Do You Order Your Parts From?
New owner here. It looks like I need to replace my thermostat (p0128), and will go ahead with getting a new water pump while I'm at it. What sites are the best to order from? I would like to go with OEM parts.

Mod bargains. It's easier to find stuff on it. Sorry, EAS. It's the truth. They're easier to navigate. I've probably bought more stuff from **********s because it was easier.
But for your part you probably need a different store.

I get OEM parts from ECS tuning. There is a thread on here bashing them for customer service but I've never had an issue with them so I will keep using them until that happens. Their prices are hard to beat and their website is solid.

Oem - I go to my local dealer. I get staff discount there where I basically pay their cost plus 10%.
Mods - where ever is the cheapest. Although I am trying to avoid US sites as much as possible with the auto part tariffs, 25% on all US imported parts. Prime example, the mod I recently purchased was $200usd for the part itself. After shipping, exchange rate, duties and 25% tariff, by the time it got to my door I ended up paying $450cdn. I will cross-shop these two and pick the best deal. Both have great customer service.

If you have a BMWCCA membership, most dealers will give you 20% off of parts. So thats a another option to consider.
I got my 359 GTS wheels and tire sensors from a dealer in NH. With the discount they were cheaper than anyone else.

I never heard of that, sounds great! Is this an official policy or is your local dealer nice to BMWCCA?

FCP Euro or ECS.. ECS has been consistently lower in price than FCP lately so I've been ordering more from ECS. Yes they have a packaging issue, nearly everything I order has its packaging damaged, but so far no product damage at all.
