That would be awesome to just select one driver or whatever and follow them around from time to time. Anyway, the best part about this weekend's race.....? It means MONACO is just right around the corner!!! |

Phill, it's unhealthy for a man of your age to take such a keen interest in young Max

On the other hand , it was interesting to see that the Ferrari's were slower , I just wonder why ? I agree . The Mercs were pretty fast again .

Indeed .If he can have a Merc seat ....Or Red Bull needs to pull more HP , and topspeed out of that Renault engine ASAP .

That was about the only good luck he's had this season though. It was shaping up to be a very competitive and exciting season with it seeming like Vettel should have quite a few more points/wins, but now I'm not so sure...Hopefully this Merc domination is short-lived.

When in doubt, power out... unless you're Grosjean.

I don't understand why he didn't just use the 40 acres of paved surface to his left. Neither do the sporting authorities, they nailed him pretty hard; 3 grid places + 2 points on his license.
I also don't understand why Ferrari's tire degredation was so much worse than everyone else's. |

What i can't figure out is why Vettel was unable to catch up with Max. After all, Vettel's tire's were newer and Max missed a part of his frontwing.

What the hell were Ferrari thinking when they pulled Vettel in under the VSC. I'm no Vettel fan, but that was pure incompetence on Ferrari's part. Had they left him out he would probably have taken 2nd place.

Nah Vettel said he was struggling with his tires so in hindsight, the stop was definitely a good idea. Unless of course that’s bullshit. But then he would’ve fought Max for the podium.

I can't stand him. Spa 2012! Still outraged at that stunt.

http://www.planetf1.com/news/mercede...cult-position/ “It’s fair to say that it was extremely marginal,” chief strategist James Vowles explained in a Mercedes video. “It’s fair to say that if the race had been a lap or two longer, we could have been in big, big trouble.” He added: “The last few laps of the race for Valtteri were very, very tense,. “We knew that the front left tyre would be very much down to zero rubber remaining. And it’s a very difficult call as to what’s going to happen. “But he had eight seconds of race time relative to the Red Bull behind, and what we were trying to do was very delicately use up some of that race time to slow down in some of the key corner sequences to make sure we looked after that tyre whilst not losing temperature in the rubber that was still actually left on it. “It’s a very, very delicate balance, and I really can’t understate this, Valtteri did an absolutely incredible job. “We put him in a very difficult position, and he dealt with it absolutely perfectly, taking that tyre just to the end of the race as we asked him to do.” |
