New to me

I've just picked-up a 128i in Sedonarot Metallic with black leather and sports pack to replace my aging 328i daily. The new girl has 47k on the clock and the old girl has 99k on the clock. I was going to go with a 2 series but I didn't like the light steering and prefer the hydraulic steering feel. I also wanted to stick with the 28i for the straight 6 non-turbo reliability. Here's a pic of both cars together.

One of the halogen headlights has condensation, so I'm thinking of swapping them for Depo V2 lights. Is this a good move? Are they a direct plug and play?

Next I'm going to transfer my front sports seats form the 328 to the 128. I've read they're a plug and play fit. Is this assumption correct?

Finally, I want to transfer the steering wheel and paddles from the 328 to the 128. Does anyone know if I can take the wiring loom from the 328 for these paddles to work or do i need to get those from elsewhere?

She's a lovely drive!
Thanks for any advice on my questions.

Very nice!

I can't give any input on your questions but someone will surely chime in.

Hey Dalecan, nice ride. So a few thoughts. 99k on the 3 is nothing, expect another 100k out of it. As for the "28i" ref, you know that BMW is also misleading us in regard to engine size. In the 128i, it's actually the 3 liter engine, so that's a nice bonus.

Great looking color on the 1. I look weekly here in NC and there's very little in regard to cars for sale. Personally I'd like to be able to find a slick top 6sp, but that's starting to approach unicorn territory...

Welcome! That color red is one of my favorites on the 1 series.

Sadly i cant really help you with your questions but i want to believe that the seats are plug and play but not 100%. I know theres a guy who put m4 vert seats in his 135

Beautiful car. Love that color as well. It's the color BMW used to introduce the E82/E88 to the world. Welcome!

Beautiful car! And yes, the Depo V2s are a great upgrade, I had them on my 128i. They are plug and play as are the seats. Here's my old 128i with the depos. They look a lot better in person and especially at night. Very high quality and bright.

Yes DEPO V2 are plug and play! Make sure you get ballasts/bulbs/error cancelers as well though (and don't forget to aim them properly!)
