Garage List
M4 CS BMW Sydney

For those who are interested saw an M4 CS at BMW Sydney/Alexandria today. I think Nardo Grey

Looked ok but had a sticker price of $205,000 AUS and that included standard brakes by the looks of things.

The front spoiler seems like an after-thought to me but the boot spoiler looks a little more aggressive. I think the wheels are very nice but do look much like HRE P101 copies.

The door liners were the most interesting, some sort of plasticy composite stuff. Felt thin and looked like the same liners used in the I3. Not nice to touch or look at but no doubt light weight. Though I do like the Alcantara finishings in the interior which are pretty much the same as the standard M-performance options if you really wanted it.

Otherwise I prefer the M3 Competition myself which was also there in Nardo Grey.

Nice write up.

50k for a tune and some carbon bits.

I don't see the value in that.

Plus the door pulls are so annoying.

Southbank Melbourne has a SMB and NG on display.

Agree the value proposition is flawed. I'd do it if the interior kept the leather and climate system of the CP, with manual option, at $180k on road.

I think the colour is Limerock Grey

Was expecting the CS to have carbon ceramics... but it does get the cool OLED taillights right? They're worth 10k

And with Carbon ceramics included... with those inclusions i see value, otherwise the ZCP is a very compelling package.

They've got a SMB version in Brisbane BMW also, agree with the door card thing, seats and dash looked awesome the way they've finished them off though.

They are not selling as not many are seeing the value in this car! A few of us got to drive them at the Philip Island track (along with M5) yesterday, and I cannot honestly say it was a quantum leap from a CP even on the track with Cup 2 tyres.

That's really interesting

Given there's zero mechanical changes apart from tyres, you query the placebo effect of guys VO coding the cs settings and raving about the difference

Tempted to try the cs coding once my tractive coilovers land though, especially the edc
