E93 M3 Hard Top Molding/trim Repair
I screwed up and took my 2011 E93 M3 to the car wash (I know...idiot) and am paying for it. I think one of the cloth strips caught in rear-most chrome trim on hard top passenger side. It pull up forward edge of trim about 3/4" (did not bend trim) and tore the rubber molding behind that the trim was attached to. The roof is not leaking and I am looking for rubber cement/glue to try to re-attach/connect torn molding so trim piece is again flush with trim forward of it. Can anyone recommend cement/glue strong enough for this application but (if possible/not requirement) still flexible. Dealer told me the molding part for the whole rear-most roof panel (that includes this 12" section) is $2200!!!! and 4-6 hours labor!!?

Can you post a picture of the damage? Will give everyone a better idea of the location. I always wash the car at the local self wash for that reason exactly. Even the hand places aren't that good because they use the same rags on all parts of the car and just swirl/scratch everything up.
