Retrofitting S5AGA Lane Change Warning (Active Blind Spot Detection) into 2018 M3?
Has anyone looked into this retrofit? My 2018 F80 has basically every option except this one, so it seems it may have most of the hardware needed for the lane change warning. I do have lane departure warning, so the vibrator is already in the steering column which I know is required.
I see little triangle's in the mirrors, not sure if it's just a black plastic piece or if the triangle lights are actually already in there. (Pic attached) I know I can code in the option into the vehicle, but not sure what else is going to be involved. Anyone have any insight or have already attempted this? Ah, thanks for the pic Anzi. So I would need some mirror mods. I'll have to check in the rear bumper and see if the radar units are in there or not. If not, this may be too expensive to retrofit.
