First photo shoot of my M3

It's been almost 2 weeks since I got my M3. I should have shared this mini photo shoot earlier, but I just didn't get around to it. Let me know what you guys think and which one is your favorite?

you want comments?

many have distracting backgrounds, crops are often too tight, contrast too high, etc.

but it is a good looking car...

Photos seem out of focus and lighting is off. There’s also a photo/vid section in the forum where threads like this belong

Good job catching the lines of the E92 using shadows. I agree, they're a little too busy, but this is the one I like best because there's a satisfying "balance" with the background distractions.

They are all great but #6 is my favorite. Congrats on the car, getting a bad case of e9x m3 fever myself.

If it's something you're serious about, try getting a polarizer for your lens, which will get rid of the unwanted reflection. Depending on lens size, they are only about 50-70$.

The other item is a tripod, which in this case will help the camera focus in darker lighting. Also try for a longer exposure to help brighten the darker areas.

Example here. I used both tools for this shot.

This, as well as limiting your shots in surrounding tungsten (orange) light (unless of course that's your objective)
you can make tungsten light work with white balance settings, if not, it just gives everything an orange hue..

With a lot of things going on in the background adjusting your aperture settings to blur them out would help your car pop a bit more. So You will def need a tripod for this...

The standout with potential is the 6th for me, which has an interesting angle.

Keep taking shots man.. and thanks for sharing.

I never know how far to go with advice. We may have just spoken a foreign language

Yeah possibly, but I think we both sense OP is very much into his photography, and constructive advice/criticism never hurts.. hopefully..
