Figured it was time...

Hey all - figured it was time for a formal intro post. I've been a member here for a long time, mainly lurking, reading and learning. Last year I posted a WTB thread for an e9x M3...looked around for a few months and just didn't see what I was looking for. This year, I renewed my search in September and posted again (in October). I was initially looking in the 18-23k range but realized I'd have to step it up a bit to find the right M3. Fast forward to December 12th when I found my car. It's a 2 owner (prior to me) 2008 E90, Jerez on Black leather, 6spd manual, slick top, w/ only 71k on the clock. It came w/ a few tasteful mods as well; Akrapovic full exhaust w/ high flow cats, macht schnell pullies and MS stg 2 intake. It came w/ a few additional mods and some nice extras (fluids, new in box mounts and suspension items, etc.) too. Although the car wasn't and isn't a garage queen, it's maybe a step or two below, and I'm happy with that. Still, it's pretty damn near mint with only some minor road rash/chips on the hood and bumper. No dents, dings or scratches. It's had a few Blackstone Oil analyses done; so far all is well but I do plan on keeping the car for a loooooong time so RB's are in my future lol. It came w/ winter tires on the OEM 219's so I'll be looking for some M PS4's soon, and maybe some AG 359's or Apex EC-7's. Looking forward to doing plenty of reading and contributing to this great community! So enough with the talking, here's a pic of her all cleaned up. I'll post more pics shortly!

Welcome! You will learn first hand all of the ins and outs of owning an e9X M3. The plusses far outweigh the minuses as you will discover.

I have enjoyed my 08 E90 M3 in JB for 7 years and 60k miles. Great car and today they are as cheap as a new Honda Accord.
