Uneven Fender Gap

Hi,

Just noticed the other day that there is uneven fender gap at my rear wheels. Does anyone know if it's normal for the drivers side to have less clearance than the passenger side? If it isn't I'm just hoping that the KW sleeve kit I have just backed out a few threads or something.

Garage should be flat, the front wheels are even so I don't think that is an issue. I'll definitely go out and park in a different spot to see if it makes a difference. Sleeve kit has been installed for a few years now, but I did recently switch tires. Maybe my stock dampers are going bad?

I saw last year people complain about the same thing on Bimmerpost .
It was with our Oem. springs and Swift springs .

Spring wear. 99% of the time we are alone in the car. This means anywhere from 140 to 250 pounds of extra weight on the left side versus the right side. Over time it adds up...

Okay, makes sense. Guess it's time for new springs then?

Not at the moment, but someone has to take care of Prius drivers every now and then.

I am 99% sure the left side of my M3 does not match the right side, specifically the front fenders side to side and the rear fenders side to side.

I noticed the same thing after I put in a Ground Control conversion kit with new springs. My left side sat about a 1/2" lower than the right. I even counted the threads on the sleeve to make sure they were equal.

This kinda bugged me initially because it meant that to get them equal, the springs are not symetric.

I noticed this on a 335i sedan I previously owned. It bugged me, so I shifted some trunk weight over to one side and that changed it enough to cure my OCD.

Just checked mine. Both sides are exactly the same, front and rear. 31k miles, ZCP. 99.9% of the time just the driver is in the car.
