Creaky steering and leaking fluid. Any known failures in PS system?
Left a parking space along the street and felt a momentary dragging feeling in the wheel, and heard a creak. It is now regularly happening on slow speed sharp turns. Got under the car, and there is some fluid dripping down from what appears to be around the pump, but due to the tight fit no way to tell exactly until I am ready to start disassembling things to do repair...
My question is, has anyone on here had any problems or know of any problems with any hoses or even the pump itself?
**Reservoir looks good, as there appears to be no leaking from the top or hose connections. I will however likely do a flush and reservoir/filter change prior to attempting any larger repairs.
