Does an ECU Flash remove coding?

Hey guys,

Just wondering if an ECU flash (BM3, VF HEX, etc.) would remove the current coding I have on my car.

It does not affect the coding

Performance software only targets/programs the DME, all other modules (FEM_BODY, HU_NBT, KOMBI, etc) are unaffected.
