NCIS 11/14 episode. e92M3 RIP

Just saw a DVR recording of NCIS from Nov 14. In the story a character was killed when someone hacked the OBD of his car and made the brakes fail leading to a crash. The car? An e92M3. Imola red, carbon roof, black painted OEM wheels, high kick rear spoiler. Sadly this car had wrapped around a tree so the right side was caved in. I'm guessing they sourced this car already totaled from the junk yard and it occurred to me that this might have been owned by a forum member before it bought the farm. ????? The show is shot in southern California but I guess the car could have come from anywhere. It was a nice surprise to see our beloved e9xM3 on TV
