Car Underbody

For those who drive year round in areas that see snow, how does your underbody look since it's subjected to road salt?

Keep it clean incl high pressure under body and you'll be fine. I tend to leave the car in the garage on snowy/salty days now days but she have certainly seen Winter and still looks nice under.

Yes, wash your car regularly and it will keep nice. I pressure spray my 10 year old car 3-4 days a week during the winter and the underneath looks brand new with no rust any where. My neighbours 2015 evo is already rusting and so is my other neighbours 2017 wrx sti. We have a lot of aluminum parts and flat panels to protect, but constant under spray will help.

I don't drive in the snow but when there's some slush I use a power washer to spray it down which is not bad but I still see some white residue.
Anyone try this? Looks promising.

How can you spray during winter when most people winterize their hose bibs..unless you go to a public car wash.

I never go to a car wash unless it's a hand wash spot without rails. Gas stations around here have self washes but when temps go below 40 they shut it down. That's why I have invested in a electric power washer kept in my garage. Hook it up to your sink or something.

This is all you need. If you really want you can get a foam cannon and use a special soap for the under body as well. I use an all purpose cleaner designed for under hood and undercarriage on my truck (car gets stored ). Spray it down, let the APC work, rinse it off, done.
