I'm not trying to be a dick, but honestly what more did you want in the engine? More power? Higher revving? No camshaft?

They're just sticking to a warmed over version of a nearly ten year old motor design. I'm sure it's a fine lump, but M used to do new, interesting things, not just skate by on past accomplishments. |

No they're not - these days they can just pump whatever sound you want through the interior speakers!

https://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/motor I suppose M was just planning three decades ahead for the i3. All motorcycles (bar the twenty seven total electric ones) are false advertising. |

Yet another thread about exhaust sound that happens to make front page news. Get ready for more endless pages of back and forth banter of what subjectively sounds better.

I agree. i like the e60 for the F1 sound and the E39 for the deep rumble.

Sounded like they started the F10 on a Cold Start. The car won't let you rev higher until after about 60 seconds, which is what it sounds like in the video. Sounds like the same happened with the F90.
Of course E60 sounds the best.
