I won稚 be lol. I値l be flashed from the comfort of my lounge chair while enjoying a cup of English breakfast.
Then I値l flash to stock when it suits on my recliner sipping a glass of blue label. Very sophisticated me thinks. Last edited by drgmt; 12-01-2017 at 09:01 PM.. |

Great development for the platform.
But it really only suits those who didn't have access to a local tuner anyway. If you go with the home flash method it'll just be an 'off the shelf' tune as opposed to something tailored to the car which is likely to be superior. That said it's still an advantage from a workshop perspective - faster and easier on our end makes it cheaper for the customer |

Agree with that to an extent. My map will be a fusion of two "off the shelf" maps and optimised extensively empirically using first principles, then dyno optimised on a test car before it is flashed to mine. Mine will be dynoed pre and post - but as far as dyno optimisation, I'm happy with the test car data (I don't have the time unfortunately) Anyway ill bring it down so you can have a drive once its done. |

I am looking into this option as well. Now most tuning companies have this option available. Which one one are you looking at HEX, BPM, ESS? or any other? Thanks |

PTF will send you a custom tune, get you to log a few runs, and then tune it to the specifics of your car. This looks the biz
