Couple E90 questions -
If one were going to acquire an E90 and do significant brake and suspension modifications is a ZCP really required?
With a E90 is there any difference with the DCT on a ZCP model? What all is included on a ZCP E90? Meaning, what are all the modifications to an E90 when a ZCP package was included during the original build? |

I believe
1. Lowered height (~1inch() 2. EDC remapped 3. 359M competition rims 4. DSC remapped 5. Dunno if DCT is tuned (no change in 6MT) If you care much about the value of OEM (probably thinking about selling value later on), find a ZCP, especially in E90 because there's only 1 model yr, 2011. If you are thinking about long term ownership with actually driving the ca, I'd buy a E90 LCI, do 359M rims (I just think it looks the best among all oem + aftermarket rims), Ohlins or KW V3, get GTS tune if DCT, and your car will be golden.

I believe MDM is slightly different with ZCP although not clear on that. No DCT differences. If you're changing the suspension, no real need to go ZCP. You can add M359s and everyone should get euro MDM coded. A DCT tune is quite an improvement as well.
I had a ZCP E90 and would go with it again but I'm typically not one to monkey much with suspension. |
