Reverting Tune Back to Stock

I recently purchased a new to me e92 M3... it has an exhasut and aftermarket tune on it.. I am planning to swap back to an OEM exhaust, but not sure what to do about the tune. How would I go about reverting to stock? Thanks!

Are you unhappy with the tune?

If not, just leave it.

I went back to a stock rear section (still have a primary cat delete) and didn't touch the tune.

No issues with the tune...drive ability is good - but I would have to guess that fuel maps are optimized for a higher flow exhaust. Restricting flow back to a stock exhaust would make it run a little richer, if I had to guess.

if he gets rid of the aftermarket exhaust and if that exhaust is catless and if the tune is a stage 2 tune, then it has to put back to stage 1 or OEM. Can't run stage two with cats

Any way to find out who did the tune and work with them to optimize it for your particular needs?

Since I am going back to stock, no need to really optimize anything. Just want to revert everything back to stock. I think it might be a Dinan tune, but I am not 100% sure

Easiest way will be taking the car to the dealer and ask them to flash the DME. And update all other modules, if needed, since you are there.

like above, take it to the dealer. Probably do not even need to ask them, they will just do it.
