bimmercode question

Hi Coding Experts,

I am sure you've heard of the BimmerCode App - My question is when in EXPERT mode, can I basically code anything I want as long as I know the exact values/parameters to change?

I'm trying to avoid the whole Laptop/Coding software USB OBDII thing and instead use BimmerCode + Wifi OBDII Dongle and expert mode

i'm trying to code out airbag warnings based on the following thread:

Sorry I'm not a expert but I just started using binmercode too. I'd be careful in expert. Seems easy to make a big mistake.

Are you using w/ engine off or on? I thought it needed to be on to avoid killing the battery.

Also I had trouble getting the mirrors to fold.

I've done some expert coding that wasn't available in the easy menu system such as comfort access seat where it slides back as you exit the car

But not everything is there, I wanted to do the front foglight switch coding but couldn't find the module

I used bimmercode to disable ASD and just to play around the app to figure out what else can be coded. I am trying to figure out what is "Expert Mode" and how to you get to it.

When you go into a specific ECU setting there is an "expert" button on the bottom of the screen. Scares me tho LOL!
