Another pointless drag race by CarWow. Comparing the 6MT M2 with DCT cars in acceleration

. I generally like his car reviews, but his drag races are so pointless and not representative.

^^^ Agree.

There's already a head to head M2 vs M4 vid out there that shows it isn't a close race between the two.

So this vid isn't really for the comparo , it's just to hopefully get some people to click on the top right corner to see how much they can save, lmao.

Rolling race was rather pointless for the M4 as the driver seemed to be in the wrong gear.
Anyways this all proves what ? That the m2 is slower in every respect ?

It's not the first time CarWow do this, they have the transmissions in auto mode. So it is more a test of how fast the transmission kicks down than a true test of acceleration capability. With the three DCT cars in manual mode in the right gear, the manual M2 would not stand a chance and the M4 would get trumped by the M5 ans M6.

This is a completely pointless video.

Guys.. although I agree with every one of you, it doesn't always have to be so critical. It's not always about what's better. They were just enjoying themselves out there having FUN. Honestly I wanted to see a race like this, seeing how much of a gap there is between each M cars (dct or 6speed).
