Help me decide on my next car

I should probably go over to the Porsche forum to ask this but I value everyone's opinion here, soo. Currently I'm driving a 2016 M3, for my next car I'd like to get into another Porsche. Due to budgetary constants I've narrowed down the list to a 09 997 TT vs a 14 991 Carrera S both have around 15k miles. I've always wanted a metzger TT but I also love the refined feel of the 991 S.

I've owned a couple of Porsches in the past 02 996 4S and a 03 996 TT. I hated the 4S and loved the TT. I sold it in 2009 right before my daughter was born and regret it since. I will pass down the M3 to my wife as she needs a new car and I love it and dont want to get rid of it. I also have a minty 1989 e34 525 with 40k miles which will probably be my daily driver if I buy a Porsche.

Please share your opinions to help me decide.

I have a 13 C2S and an M4. Different cars, but both great. The 991 is the last of the NA cars, and I love mine. The 400hp is sufficient. Prices are coming down and there are some real deals out there. I would suggest following this thread https://rennlist.com/forums/991/8636...k-991-1-a.html Read through a good portion of the thread and you will learn a lot about pricing on 991s. I can't speak to the 997 though.

I would always get twin turbo over a naturally aspirated 911. I personally prefer the look, size and feel of a 997.2, but I don't dislike the 991 either. The twin turbos are such good cars and they make great, reliable daily drivers.

The 991.2 drives the best. I don't know if it's the rear steering or what but it feels closer to the 718's on the track.

Instead of the 997TT I'd rather sport a 2018 TTRS. Probably faster car with warrantee and less $ for maintenance and service. Porsche service rates are $$.

I'd go 997 Turbo. GT2 aero kit, wheels, tune, and done. Just my .02

I got a my C2S in October as a CPO, love it! 40% off original MSRP, in great shape with two year warranty. I personally think it has plenty of power and I like the feel of a NA engine.
