What widths for 20" HREs?
What would be the ideal widths for a set of 20" HREs? Based on conversations with HRE, I can go up to 20x9 in the front and 20x11 in the back for an E92 M3 coupe, but I think this might be too aggressive. Should I do 20x8.5 F and 20x10.5 R? Would the larger widths severely add to understeer?
I am planning on running Michelin PS2s in 245/30/20 F and 295/25/30 R. Would it looked stretched with a 20x9 F and 20x11 R? Thanks in advance for your help. |

20x8.5 F 20x10.5 R is a big width difference and may cause unwanted understeering which might compromise the handling performance. |

HRE has confirmed that 20x11 will fit in the rear. How much understeer will be caused by using a 20x9 F 20x11 R setup versus a 20x9 F and 20x10.5 R setup? I thought I even saw someone on the forum running 20x8.5 F and 20x11 R.
