Honda Civic Type R

Thinking of selling my M235i for one of these. Looks pretty sweet.

Not huge on FWD but for this I'd make an exception.

I am thinking about this car too because I am tired of paying Ferrari prices for maintaining my BMW and that's DURING warranty (Basically I got badly ripped off on clutch replacement which turned me off any "premium" german cars).

I appreciate Civic's practicality and 4-doors but I hate this car's gaudy boy-racer looks so I hope it will be available in dark metallic. Also the engine sound and power-delivery are rough compared to BMW. Still worth to buy this little Honda mostly because unlike BMW Canada there is no extortion racket operating behind the brand.

I haven't read any of the reviews on Type R, but I thought I read a Honda rep say the Type R suspension was too harsh as a daily driver ?

Must say the amazing thing about the 235 is it's great adaptive suspension.

Thought has crossed my mind about a type-r

Thing is a beast but Belgium nailed it. It's way too rice. Being 38 I'm way too old for toys like that.

Starting to watch some YouTube videos, wow this thing is a beast and good value. I saw a review where the car had a spoiler delete and it makes it look more tame. Not sure if that is an option, or just a test mule.

Its just a shame Honda never gave us the EK hatch CTR in championship white.

I test drove sti and it was a disappointment mostly due to terribly laggy engine which meant I was either stalling or leaving skid marks at the lights. It felt quite slow too for the same reason.
