Damn you Europe and your manual GTV. Can't think of any reason they only brought the auto to the US.

Never thought I'd hear myself say this but the M3 sounds great, easily the best of the three (revving in park, at least).

M3 sounds like shit because V8 is better. Even though I prefer the sound of the F8x I still have to vote for AMG because V6 is for pussies, V8 baby.

I was just imitating the interwebs and what they have to say about the sound of the straight six M. I think it sounds incredible! V8 muscle car guys compliment the sound of my F80 with those snap, crackle, and pops quite frequently.

Exhaust note?

These are fun, but voting on an exhaust note based on a presumed mediocre recording, lousy transfer thru media, and played back on more lousy systems?!

The m3 has a lot over the c63 but you have to be out of your mind to say the exhaust note of the m3 is nicer then the c63 if you've actually heard these cars in person.

Of course this is all subjective

Mercedes uses such a cheap-looking material on the center of their steering wheels.

No doubt, the M3 sounds better and even at speed from the vantage point of the cabin the M3 seem more planted than the Merc or Giulia!

M3 sounds terrible. Reminds me of an old Arctic Cat 700 snowmobile I had. I think I sold that thing for about $1,000. M3 should probably have a better tone than a 20 year old sled. Great car I'm sure, but I really don't know how they released a car with that exhaust note, particularly when the previous model sounded great and even the M235i sounds better with its I6-turbo. Makes no sense.

Honestly, who the fuck cares what the car sounds like doing 290 KM/H along the Autobahn?

Sorry but the m3 is not a great sound, the Alfa and Merc sound nicer by far. Yes we get the odd manual car still over the pond!

That was a sweet Autobahn Run. I hit 270 kph on one of our EDs. White knuckle driving at those speeds.

That driver has some mega cojones to drive at that speed on a two lane highway. Also very impressive how much power each car has. You can't go wrong with any of them.

I personally like the F8x M car's sound, but to me how a car sounds is a huge part of the integral driving experience, especially for a performance-oriented vehicle. I like to hear a pleasing or exciting sound track when I'm going through the gears, especially downshift rev-matching through the curvy roads as the exhaust note bounces off of the canyon walls.

You get used to these speeds very quickly when the roads are of great quality and so are the other drivers. And these cars are made to handle these speeds. I was driven in an S class at around 250kph for a couple of hours and fell asleep!

Eh I like the f80 sound best as well. I like the high pitched note sounds racier like Indy car lol

The deep exhaust notes are fine but just sound like all exhaust. I could get a mustang for that. Nah

Also it seems the f80 is the only one with the HUD. That's key. Too bad no 6 speed in this video. The sound of the dct in D mode shifting hurts my soul. Sounds too much like an automatic.
