Lci for sale

Hi all
For a few reasons I'm considering selling my mineral white 15 lci, black wheels carbon roof, black leather 10klms
What have peoples experiences been selling or buying privately?
What prices have people been paying or what sort of trade in values have there been offered. There is quite a range on carsales and is carsales the way to go.
Is selling by consignment too much of a risk
Cheers

I sold my e90 by consignment . I wasn't around much so was good is that way. But the consignment dealers don't care about you one bit. They care about selling the car. Whatever price you "agree" on will drop to make that happen. I would steer clear of consignment if you don't have to.

Just get it advertised. Set a realist price and wait.

I'll get it ready to list but not in a stupid rush.
If I could get $115 I'd be pretty happy

While no-one wants a tyre kicker to come and offend you - I would suggest a good read of carsales etc current pries for similar cars will put you in the right frame of mind for a sale. I recently was looking at used - but thought the prices too high and went new. If I've got into a 2017 F80 ZCP near 140 on road, what's to stop someone reaching another $20k from your ask? Most here are on a monthly, so the little bit extra is no big reach. I hope you get your price, helps my resale!

Fair enough. I guess we will just wait and see. I'm in no rush and I don't need to give it away but at the end of the day I'm a realist as well.

I guess what I was trying to gauge is that while people are listing cars anywhere from 110-125 what are people paying for used m3s bought privately

Personally, I wouldn't be paying more than 100k for an LCI without the Competition Pack, and no more than 120k for an LCI with Competition Pack.

I realise that the difference in cost for the Competition Pack is only $5k, however the impact such packages has on resale/used cars is not insignificant.

Best of luck!
