I did a quote with NRMA (current insurer) for an F80 and it came out as $2700 one day and $3800 the next.
34yo, member for 15 years, driving since 16yo, no claims/issues, Sydney. X5M costs $2100 by comparison.

I've found you do have to jump ship every year to get honeymoon pricing. The "multi car" and "loyalty" bonus is nothing compared the price you get from another insurer. Be nice if a dealership would ring me back so I can get a quote for BMW insurance - it was the cheapest for my X5!
