ZCP or spend $5k on mods?
I guess most people here are buy it and then get the itch for a tune kinda people, but has anyone thought about saving the $5k by not going zcp and spending it on mods? What mods? Well I'm not a fan of the rims, and I reckon the 19's would sell easier to a normal 3 driver than the 666M. Ultimately I would club day the car, so maybe brakes, wheels, and probably jump straight to machined turbos with a flash....one day.

Competition is incredibly good value.
If your talking about mods like brakes, wheels and turbos, wtf are you worried about 5k for? Seats, belts, suspension tweaks, M Performance grilles, tune, exhaust, easily worth the 5k. I'd also say when it comes time to sell, you would suffer ultimately also.

ZCP - you get a lot of bang for your buck. The exhaust is a lot nicer vs stock & the little touches like the stitching on the seat belts are very nice. Seats aren't as hot with the gaps (QLD weather needs ventilation).
666 wheels look really nice in person, much better than photos |

zcp has made a lot of journos do a 180 on their not-so-favorable mixed opinions of the original f80, myself included
it's alot of little things that seem to add up to quite a big change from behind the wheel, that imo would be a gamble and trial and error trying to replicate with aftermarket parts about the only criticism i can give the zcp vs the original car, is the dampening is right on the limit of tolerable for aussie roads, and could be an issue once the new car novelty wears off, though it does get better at speed on a b road. i'll put some of this down to the 30 series tyres and stiffer sidewall star spec mpss - the new ps4s is due to release any day now (in US) |

comp pkg will come in hand when you go to sell it. Im sure most buyers in the used market will be looking for cars with the pkg

Nice!
I decided to wait for LCI2.0, so July for me! Definitely Comp pack over basic mods.
