FS m performance electronic v2 manual steering wheel
Hi all
I just purchased a 1 series with this steering wheel installed. It's only been on the car for 2 months and is in excellent condition The wheel is very nice but it's a little too much for me.... I could use the funds to put towards a set of summer wheels If anything I may get a ledermanz wheel in the future I compared the part numbers for the 1 And m3 and they appear to be the same Looking for $1000 and removal of the wheel Last edited by chopstik; 01-26-2017 at 11:30 PM.. |

This wheel will need the clock spring that comes along with it, and some additional wiring. Did the car come with the original clock spring, b/c you're going to need one when you sell this wheel.

Yes I have the original clock spring with my original wheel to put back
Please explain the plugs I would need? I wouldn't be able to just transfer whatever wires were in my car to his? And just put my sport wheel back on? Looking at the diy it doesn't show additional harness needed unless I missed that Last edited by chopstik; 01-24-2017 at 01:13 AM.. |

You can view the items from the steering wheel manual (see attached on page 4).
For the perspective of installing TO the electronic performance steering wheel to their current vehicle they would need part E (two pin plug) often overlooked and lost, it can easily be installed without it, but its nice to have everything OEM. From the perspective of installing BACK to the regular M sport wheel, you need to find the black 6 pin casing versus the 12 pin casing that would go into the coil spring cassette. |

Coming from someone who has this wheel, I could never imagine going back to the OEM sport wheel. Unless you have small hands. Then I get it.

I can see how this can come in handy but I'm actually not too big a fan of Alcántara . I prefer the feel of the perforated leather... i actually have my eye on another steering wheel |
