Tint on windshield

For those that have their windshield tinted, what was your solution to attaching your registration and inspection sticker?

Usually it's a shade lighter - around 40% or 50%.

On one of my other cars I place it directly on the tint. When I take off inspection and registration I use hair dryer and heat it up good and just use water and microfiber towels to remove whatever glue is left over. It's a pain but looks less obvious it's tinted this way
