Saintor, the fact that this is an E90 forum doesn't mean that we can't talk about how other cars compare to ours. In fact, this kind of threads appear on the forum all the time, i.e, G5, Audi, MB, and others...
Anyhow, back on the subject, yes the G8 looks a lot like a BMW.... a year ago I saw one but didn't ride it. The BMWs interior is much more elegant than the G8 but I really was impressed with the exterior and the numbers.

This should be int he general autos (non-BMW) forum.
GM build quality is still crap. If they built better quality cars that were not numb to driving, I would genuinely consider them. |

I might ride in one of these, but I still would never own one.
2009 Pontiac G8 GXP Pontiac has announced a G8 range-topper with a 402 hp 6.2-liter LS3 V-8. How does 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds sound? Or wait until 2010 to get it in the El Camino version |

to the OP... this is the wrong thread. hence, why he said: this is an e90 forum. dont be so quick to defend yourself... just think a lil bit.

Car and Driver states: "If the G8 begs to be driven, then the 550i begs to be flogged". Regardless, it's a HUGE step up for Pontiac, and you have to give kudos to the American industry for stepping up their game. The fact that it's even being compared to a $60k+ 5 series is something of an acheivement all in itself.
