Battery voltage dropped whilst Flashing FEM Module
Hi guys,
Can anyone advise what is the best course of action. I have made the dope mistake of allowing my battery voltage to drop whilst flashing my FEM module. I am told it is now corrupt and need new FEM module. This comes at a cost of £525 from dealership. 1) Is there any way around paying £525 from dealership? I.E Second hand FEM module? 2) With a new FEM module what do I need to do? |

Sorry about your misfortune, did you head over to other forums and see if there are ways to "revive" it? Do you mind sharing the details, because it would help for those that don't want to listen to all the warnings when flashing ... That really sucks for you!
Using ISTA/P, there are procedures for replacing ECUs, ... As well details of what needs to be done, here's the document for FEM installation, the post install/programming looks quite involved! Last edited by aboulfad; 06-08-2016 at 06:49 PM.. |

Sorry to hear that OP, it really sucks . You can find local salvage yard or try some on ebay. What happen? did you have PSU connected to your car ? did you flash everything at once?
