These tires really wake up during spirited driving... although i only got about 4000 miles on the rears

That makes more sense then. You should get 8k without burnouts and drifting from the rears.

The rears are definitely wider and the sidewalls are more flush and not as stretched.

Initial impressions are very good.
All these observations are in MDM mode. TRACTION: even with only 20 miles on them, full traction out of first gear with only a sporadic blinking of the traction light, but no noticeable computer intervention. I know it will get even better after the mold agent wears off. S3 SHIFT MODE: Now fully usable without computer intervention. ROAD NOISE: Both with windows up and down, there is a little more road (whirling) noise, but not a lot more. Definitely within tolerance for all the positives. Also some surfaces cause new types of noises, but again minor. INITIAL TURN-IN: It feels a little more sharp, but not because of the sidewalls, more because of the higher grip levels. Over all not much of a change from the PSS. LOOKS: More squared look on the sidewalls with less of a stretched look (especially in the rear), from the rear it looks proper wide now. OVERALL: Very impressed, can't wait to get the mold agent worn off and for the first 1,000 miles to go by as that is where the tread depth drops a little and they get more stable. I'm still playing with air pressure. Currently have them at 35 PSI semi-warm (probably 33-34 PSI cold) Next up... Ohlin R/T as soon as they are released.
