Nappa Leather
I have a 40e on order that all have nappa mocha leather seats. I've never had a nappa interior before and was wondering if there are any particular leather care products that you would recommend.
Since the interior also has the leather dash the same questions apply. Or any other advice that may be beneficial. Thank you! |

I use Zaino on mine, but any quality leather product (basically anything you can't buy at autozone) would be a good choice (adams, sonax, meguiars, leatherique, CG etc)

Just got the SwissVax Leather care kit. It's for Nappa only.
Not sure what will work on my other vehicles with Dakota leather. Have used Lexol before, there are better products out there.

Yes, many better choices than lexol, it leaves a greasy film and just doesn't do a great job after you try something better.

I didn't see anything indicating it's for Nappa only on their site. Does it say so on the bottles?

I just use the Meguiar's stuff from my local auto store. Seems to work great for me.

Second line in the narrative for the 250 ml bottle of leather cleaner states for regular Napa leather cleaning. Take a look www.swissvax.us.com

I swear by Swissvax. I am impressed every time I use it. I do use their special brush for cleaning.
Never use Lexol on any BMW leather. It will make it sticky over time. There are much better products available.

http://www.swissvax.us/merchant.mvc?...Code=SE1042610 Easy to use leather refresh and care product for regular nappa leather care Re-establishes and preserves the natural moisture balance of the nappa leather and does not affect the leather's original colour and leaves no greasy residu. The Swissvax Leather Milk is an easy-to-apply nappa leather refreshing and care product... Seems it is for napa and they mention no other types of leather.

I use leatherique on my Novillo Leather on my M3 and the Montana leather on the E38. The Nappa leather on our X5 is really nice, I am pretty sure I will use leatherique on that as well.
