New (to me) 2014 X5 50i M Sport
Picked this CPO Elite up just over a week ago, and so far I'm loving it. Had to drive about 3.5 hours, and trade my 335i to get it, but it was worth it. I had never seen one with the fineline pure wood trim, and when I saw it, it became a major reason I bought this one.
Packages: - M Sport - Executive - Cold Weather - M Adaptive Suspension - Comfort Rear Seats - Multi Contour Front Seats - Ventilated Front Seats - Driver Assistance Plus - Black 20" 469M Wheels - Adaptive Lighting Package - Sapphire Black with Black Dakota Leather I feel very fortunate to have this one. Only had 14,610 miles on it when I picked it up and other than two very small door dings, and normal paint wear (light marring and swirls, and some minor clear coat scratches on the rear bumper) it's in fantastic shape. Did a light detail on it this weekend and snapped a few pics: |

Congrats!
The 50i is a beast to say the least. Really nice color combo with the powder coated wheels. Sides de-badged looks really clean. Is the trunk hatch de-badged as well?

Congrats. Wouldn't be surprised if it previously belonged to someone here since it was lightly modded (black wheels and grilles).

Congrats OP, nice find!
I was thinking the same, previous owner even removed the side badges, which makes it look much cleaner.

Thanks guys! Loving it so far!
Not sure if the previous owner is a member here. I'm told it was an older gentleman, friend of the dealership's GM. Apparently walks with a cane and is a very successful business owner, trades cars every couple of years there. The pure wood trim, has a grayish hue that really ties into the overall look nicely. And the black wheels are growing on me. Wasn't sure about them at first. Trunk is not debadged, but may do that as I like the look of the sides. The 4.4 V8 is a beast, but I've been impressed with the gas mileage so far. Got 23.7mpg on the trip bringing it home, and it's slightly uphill from Atlanta to here. |

If anyone is thinking about the Conti DWS06... stop thinking about them and go get them! These tires are really, really good. The highest runout of the 4 was .011" (rear) and the other three were .008" (rear), and .004" (the two fronts). If I had any complaint about them it's that the sidewalls are slightly softer than a run flat, and turn-in is not as crisp, but this is a big, heavy truck. Once in Sport or Sport+ mode, it's not as big a deal.
BMW got a LOT right with the X5. |
