I have a Velos Handheld Tuner for sale, including cables and USB stick. The unit sells for $450 from Velos and can be reset for your X5/X5M if you purchase a Velos tune. Asking $300 OBO.

I'm assuming this is for 50i? Sorry, don't know much about Velos

This will work for the 50i, X5M, X6M, and probably a bunch of other BMW's that Velos does tunes for.

The actual unit is an nGenius, which, with the right software, works across a wide range of cars.

This is a great unit--much better than pulling/shipping your ECU.

This will work for any car, just have to reprogram. Instructions were included with unit and I'm sure you can download the pdf off the web.

Unfortunately it's not that easy. The tuner will need to be returned to Velos and the VIN will have to be reprogramed to the new vehicle. Did I mention that it costs $150.00 for the service.
