I'm just happy I don't have to fly home to Seattle to watch Hawks games anymore.

The only reason this excites me is the fact that I will get to see the Panthers play at some point in LA. Otherwise, not a fan of the Chargers or the Rams.

Even if they move back here to LA, I wouldn't be impressed, but IMO they're a far better team than Chargers or Raiders... I have yet to see a douchebag Rams fan (but then again I haven't seen many), but holier-than-thou Chargers fans and wannabe gangster Raiders fans are a dime a dozen around here.
Makes me wonder how many people will abandon whoever they've been rooting for all these years to take the bandwagon to the Rams just because they finally have a team in LA though. I have some distant cousins in Pittsburgh (but enough to justify my stance as a fan), so I won't give up 10 years of fandom for some newfangled local team.

ANY team that makes a move will have to pay the NFL $550,000,000! So you know the owner of said franchise will get with City Officials and make sure they can recoup that revenue. I would not be surprised if it's near Downtown! Can you imagine... I don't live there but have been plenty and my Mom does live there. So Cal is ALL about them dollars... |

They won't be into the new stadium until 2019 season, in Carson across the freeway from the Miller Beer cans. Until then it's the Coliseum, where they used to play.

^^^ correct.
Happy we have an NFL team and actually liked the Rams when I was a kid here. Good for kids to grow up with the opportunity to go to NFL with their family and friends. Just need to find my old Rams hat now. |
