Shipping company recommendations
hello all,
finally found the perfect M3 for me!! I'm beyond excited to get it home. with that said, I need a hand finding a shipping company. I looked online and got tons of results. so I look to fellow owners, does anyone have a company they have used/use to transport your vehicles? being its winter for a lot of us, I would like to have it shipped in an enclosed trailer. please post or pm me your recommendation. thanks everyone! |

Intercity. You can find others that are cheaper, but Intercity will deliver the car looking exactly like it did before they picked it up. That's what you want.

After doing a lot of homework, I'm working with an auto sales group in our area that has experience shipping vehicles cross country.
I just did not feel comfortable picking one myself. Learned a lot: I was hoping I could pick a specific date of delivery - and I just don't think most carriers can be that accurate on longer distances. IF they say they can? Not sure I'd believe em. A lot of these transport groups parse out the business to carriers - they are just brokers for lack of a better word. Game is of course to fit as many vehicles on a run as possible. You want tracking? Do your homework and pick a transport with detailed tracking capabilities. Make sure you have your own insurance along the journey. Ask the insurance coverage of the carrier too. Good luck to all...I just hope I'm being steered in the right direction myself. Here's a link that helped me a lot: http://www.transportreviews.com/

I don't but realize if you are going with a broker (they find someone to haul the car for you) you don't really have any idea who will haul the car and good chance if anything goes wrong the broker will try to push you off to the company that did the work.
My first choice would be to go with a company actually hauling the car or at least want some type of guarantee in writing from the broker that they are responsible for problems.

After doing some research this company appears good:
http://enclosedvehicletransport.com/ Any red flags? And it appears they are not a broker. |
