BMW i8 children's riding toy at Walmart

Got to love BMW marketing offering an i8 at Walmart, now available to all for only $169.

What's more of a ripoff, this toy at $169 or the real thing at $135K?

lol at the racial stereotypical advertising.

Still remember drooling over the gas-powered Lambo's in FAO as a kid.

Is it also selling above MSRP? Always makes me laugh. No offense to the ones who paid the premium price on top of the premium price.

Strange question. For those of us who have and enjoy the i8 it's not a ripoff. But I guess if you have to mortgage your first born you'd say something like that.

Being full electric, at least this one will qualify for the HOV lane sticker. That would actually be a big factor to consider when debating the $169 & $135k versions, at least here in Los Angeles/Orange County.

Is that supposed to be a jab at me and my ability to afford the i8? I can pay cash for it right now thank you very much, but I would choose other cars for the price.

But props to you for owning one...hope you got it for the $10k+ under msrp that they're going for now

You don't get it. Have you ever driven an i8? I don't mean around the block...I mean actually driven an i8 for more than 100 miles, or so?

If you haven't, I can state without qualification that you don't know what you are talking about. Completely clueless.

Is it perfect? No. But then neither are any of the cars on your list, either.
I love my car. I don't care about the money...my peace of mind and the enjoyment I gain is more important!!

Cheers-mk

What do these have to do with a thread about a child's toy at Walmart?
