OEM wiper blades... Inserts or replace the whole blade?
So I just stopped by my local stealership and apparently they stated I cannot just purchase the wiper blade inserts (rubber piece) on "M" specific cars...
What have you guys been replacing them with? My Lexus, Honda, Acura all have been able to replace only the insert at the dealer( $6-7) Parts rep told me, no inserts for "M" cars.. But they have them for regular models. $50+ for the set.. I laughed my ass out of the stealership... Although I got a wholesale account from work but even with wholesale price, it's still at $38-40 |

yea.. it looks like you have to replace the whole actual wiper.... typically im just replacing the rubber inserts but i guess BM is trying to milk out as much as possible.. lol $50 for wiper blades are ridiculous, im very used to paying $10 but i guess i gotta start forking out some extra $$ because of this euro design

For my '08 M3, I used Goodyear Advantage wipers from Costco. Worked great and were very inexpensive--$7.99/blade when not on sale, $4.99/blade when they are.
Unfortunately, these don't work for the LCI M3 (current car's an '11). So, I'll have to explore other options for it. |
