What is the BFD about the Pope's Friggin' Fiat?

I think I can aver that I've heard almost as much about the Pope and his Fiat as I have about what the man actually has to say on substantive matters. What is is the big fuzzy deal about that darn car?

His Holiness is hardly the only guy who has effectively unlimited funds and who also rides around in a modest vehicle.

Same thing about the obsession of what the first lady wears and such. People just don't have the brains to focus on things of importance.

About the pope being driven around in a Fiat,the media said it shows the pope lives the life of a simple man.

Most simple men i know dont fly on their chartered Airbus A330.
