From my track day at COTA yesterday

Getting better, that was 2:42 compared to my best of 2:48 the previous time out. I was running consistently 2:45 most of the day so I think watching the videos that I made helped me to do better this time out. In addition, the first instructor I had gave me some good advice about 3-6 and I was able to pick up my speed to about 85 on entry and carried through at 75-80 which is about 10mph faster than the July run. I already signed up for the Nov. 1 run. No M5's out this time, only a couple of M3's. There was one in the garage with me and the other garage mate was a 2009 911 C2S with some mods. He was pretty fast, that is who is in front of me. I did catch him and pass him though. There were several 458s a few 430s a lot of McClaren's and one Lambo 570-4 in green. There were also lot's of Vettes a couple of ZL1s and plenty of rice burners, mostly Miatas. Of course Porsche was well represented and there was the same 991tts with the DRONES plate and the black wrap along with an assortment of GT-3s and plenty of 911s.
